About Nick Bhakta
After graduating from Waterford Kamhlaba, United World College of Southern Africa, Nick received his law degree with honors from Kings College London. He was awarded a post graduate diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law in London thereafter and finished his legal training at the University of Texas at Austin.

Nick became licensed to practice law in the State of New York in 1998. He is also licensed to practice in the State of Texas and United States District Court of the Western District of Texas, United States District Court for the nothern District of Texas and the United States Court of Appleals for the Fifth Circuit.

In 1999, Nick joined the law firm of Kuhn, Doyle and Kuhn, P.C. in Austin. He went on to become a founding partner in Kuhn, Bhakta, Turner, and Kuhn P.C. and now has his own practice with offices in downtown Austin and Pflugerville, Texas.

Nick has a diverse civil practice ranging from complex multi-state litigation to business, commercial, and real estate transactional matters. Nick is engaged in the handling of formation and governance of business entities including choice of entity, buy-sell agreements and business transactions including acquisitions and sales, real estate transactions including purchase and sale transactions and leases, and estate planning and probate law.

Nick has resided in Austin, TX since 1998 with his wife and twin boys. He draws upon his experiences growing up and living in Africa, England, and the United States to offer a unique perspective and innovation solutions.
